You have a lot stuff that you need to get accomplished, but time seems to be a rare commodity for you. Many of you start your network marketing business on a part-time basis because you have a regular job that you also work. Having a little extra cash in your pocket is what you need, but having the time to make it is what you want. So, here’s three easy things that you can do daily, to promote your business, that should take you about 20 minutes to do.

Google Adwords or alternative

Ok, I know that I said daily, but this one is sort of a bonus as you only need to set it up once. Adwords, is a PPC advertising program that is offered by the search engine giant,Google, and allows you to put your product in front of thousands of potential customers. You have complete control over your budget and entire ad campaign, and can market for a low monthly cost.

I’ve ran small campaigns for about $20 a month. You can start small and test your ads and then grow your campaign after you figure out how to word it so that it gets you the most traffic. If you aren’t an Adwords or Google fan, then there's a few good alternatives that you can try by searching under the term “Google Adwords Alternatives,” or something similar. Once you set it up, check back every few days to see how your campaign is performing and make changes if needed.

Social Media

I bet you didn’t see that one coming did you? Well, how can someone talk about promoting their products these days and not talk about social media? As long as you don’t get distracted, hmm guilty; you can actually get a lot done in 20 minutes on Facebook. Make comments and network with people while tactfully sliding your product into the conversation.

Join groups as there's a lot of like minded people who you can network with, that could be helpful to you in some way. I’ve even been a part of trade groups where everyone represents a different direct sales company, and they buy each others product. This may not make you any money, but it will help you qualify for that next commission level. Just remember that there is proper etiquette to observe even on Facebook. As long as you’re professional and don’t spam people, then you’ll do great.

Have lunch

As offbeat as this may seem, it’s a low pressure way to get some leads. The trick is that you should have some business cards or a pamphlet to leave behind. A lot of direct sales companies have pamphlets or inserts that you can buy as accessory items for your business. Furthermore, Vista Print has really cheap business cards and can sometimes even get them free.

When you get ready for the bill you can either leave your card with the waiter/waitress or leave it on the table. Lunch in twenty minutes may be a little quick, but this would also work in a fast food restaurant. A pamphlet would be better in this case, but locate one of many newspapers that are left on a table and place it on top of it so that it won’t be missed. If the table is cleaned, chances are that someone will still see it. If there’s no paper lying around, then just leave it on an empty table. I would advise that you not over use this method, as it can be a little spammy.

It’s that easy

That’s it, now you have a few ideas that shouldn’t take you long to do at all. You can rotate the days in which you do these activities and still have enough time for those other tasks on your busy schedule. Following these suggestions won’t have people flocking to you, but it helps build up your business a little at a time, and every bit helps. More so, you have to always remember, that when building your business, some action is better than no action.
