Discover one of the best Cable & Satelitte alternatives available today...
What if there was a way to watch all of your favorite movies and television shows without having to pay the hefty monthly price that the cable and satellite companies charge? Well, I’d like to help you save money, while I show you the best new way to do exactly that.
You’re about to discover, as I recently have, a new alternative to those annoying, overpriced bills that you get from current TV Providers.

First, an interesting little story about how timing is everything. Last weekend I was doing chores with my fiance around the house. As we were finishing up there was a knock on the door. For us this was strange, as we really weren’t expecting anyone. When I opened the door, I was greeted by a Sales Rep from AT&T, who was selling U-Verse. My first thought was, wow, do people actually still go door-to-door selling cable?
The gentleman was actually well versed and really pulled me in as he genuinely seemed concerned about what it was that I needed, and didn’t just seem like he was trying to hard sell me on the U-Verse service. This is exactly the way that I’ve talked about doing it in some of my other articles, but that’s a different story.
To shorten a long story, we talked about how more and more people are dropping cable services and going with streaming television, which is exactly what I’ve been doing. He thought I was wasting my money on Netfilx and Hulu because I didn’t have access to the majority of programming that is available.
Yes, it was hard to give up cable because I no longer have sports, or channels like HGTV, Discovery Channel or History Channel. But I ALSO didn’t have the over $100 monthly bill anymore as well. In the end sacrifices had to be made.
Time To Cut The Cord
But, what if you don’t have to sacrifice anything, and still have access to over 100,000 movie titles, 200,000 TV episodes, sports and all of the Premium Channels? And, what if you could still stream all of your favorite Video Streaming Services like Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, and Amazon Instant Video (Amazon Prime)? Furthermore, what if you only had to pay a One-Time Fee, and never have to pay a monthly payment again?
Now, there’s a lot of “what-ifs” in this article, so I’ll put and end to this now. The bottom is that now you can!
By now most people have heard of Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast and Roku TV. Now I would like to introduce you to Beyond TV (BTV going forward), by Legacy Direct.
Features:

It’s really only fair to compare BTV to the above mentioned services, but in the chart you can see how inferior the Cable/Satellite line-up is. Plus, as you’ll notice, no other service even comes close to the amount of programming that BTV grants access to. Furthermore, even though you can still access Hulu, Netflix and all of the major streaming services, with the amount of content that is available on demand, and commercial free, you won’t need to access them. The icing on the cake is that you’ll also have access to movies that are currently in the theater.
I've also heard the arguement that you can get a similiar streaming device on Amazon for a fraction of the price. Here's the difference... BTV comes preconfigured with the BTV App, which has a user friendly interface, movies, shows, games, music videos, kareoke and cable channel apps/addons, that are all ready to use. And the community is always discovering and adding more! You won't find that with those $99 devices.
Is This Legal, Will I Get In Trouble?
Now at this point most people ask how can they get away with this, or is this legal? Well, in short the answer is YES, it is legal. Take a look at what a Founding Member of a comparable service had to say about the legalities.

Also noteworthy, the good news for consumers is, the FCC just cited in favor of the Net Neutrality Rules here in the United States once again. This means that your ISP cannot unfairly degrade your service, like Comcast did when people were using peer-to-peer file sharing.
Under the DMCA Act, the Act provides web hosts, search engines and other internet services "safe harbor" from copyright infringement claims. Also, under the DMCA anti-circumvention provisions, the box also makes no attempt to bypass or circumvent any "technical protection measures”.
Bottom line, is it is not unlawful to link to Copyrighted content as long as it’s NOT being “reproduced and distributed”, which is not even possible unless it is downloaded. These rulings have been how companies like Direct Satellite TV, have been able to stay in business for years.

What’s Under The Hood?
While most people are content with just being able to watch great programming, there are always folks that are also interested in the specifications as well. Upon research, I discovered that the BTV box is currently the most powerful box available in comparison with Amazon Fire TV and Roku 3.
Specifications:

Get Paid To Watch Television Ok, so you can’t exactly get paid to watch television in the true sense of the statement, however, there is an opportunity to get paid to spread the word about this great product. I’ve had friends over to watch movies and were amazed at the amount of programming that I had at my finger tips. After explaining the product to them, they were salivating at the chance to get hold of one of these sleek little boxes. I make a commission of $150 every time that I recommend one of these boxes to friends and family. The extra money is nice and has more than paid for my boxes.
The company has a generous compensation plan (ask to view), for those that are familiar with Network Marketing, and for those that aren’t, just know you make a good commission for spreading the word. It’s easy to sign up as a distributor, and to start getting the word out. It’s a one-time $49 fee, but as soon as people see the boxes in action, they practically sell themselves.

Competitors
Upon writing this review, I’ve been able to find at least three other companies selling extremely similar products. After reviewing each I can confidently say that BTV has the cleanest and most user friendly graphical user interface, and is the easiest to navigate and find things.
Whether or not you take advantage of this great product, there should be no argument that streaming is here to stay, and is the most viable option for cutting the cord on cable.
