If you like to write and have figured out that you can get paid to share your thoughts, then you may have noticed a few of the content marketing sites that on the Internet.
Places like Hubpages and Squidoo have done it for a while now. These kind of sites are starting to appear more often if you know how to look for them. And why not, it’s a great business model and gives the writer a place to showcase their talents, and get paid to do something that they love. Blogjob is one of the newer entrants into this marketplace.
What’s there to like
Blogjob, is what I would describe as being an Bubblews on steroids. The pay structure is different, but there’s a strong social aspect as well as writing articles. It’s like a Hubpages meets Facebook, except that it’s implementation is better than Bubblews.
You can earn both gift cards and cash by doing various activities on the site such as posting comments, befriending people and writing articles or blog post. As mentioned, the social aspect alone is done very well and could be enough alone to carry the site.
However, the real magic comes from creating a site and then blogging or posting articles. As the name implies, Blogjob is about creating quality content through writing at least 300 word posts. This is how you will be able to redeem the most cash and gift cards.
The site uses the now reputable Word Press infrastructure along with Buddy Press to create a network of bloggers. When you create a site, you can choose from over 100 templates for your site. Furthermore, since it runs in the WP platform it is easy to customize and change the look of your site.
This is where Blogjob is like Hubpages, in that you are able to write articles and have the same high quality appearance that your hub would have.
What’s not to like
There may be a few websites out there that offers a medium for writers to express themselves while getting paid to do so, but this site is honestly a fresh spin on a now older concept.
There really isn’t a lot not to like about Blogjob. The owner of the site, is friendly and very responsive to the members. Being active in the community, and offering help and quickly answering any questions is the mark of someone who really cares about their members.
Additionally, another nice feature is that members can complete projects to earn extra points. The points that you get from projects really add up as they are a lot of points. The only caveat to this is that you can only complete a project once per account. This isn’t a bad thing because by completing few few projects will allow you to redeem your points pretty fast. The first cash payout is now set at 5,00 points.
Summary
If you love websites like Hubpages, Writedge or Bubblews, then you’ll love Blogjob as well, if not more. Bringing a fresh perspective on a somewhat old concept, the site has been close to perfect for those who love to write or be social.
While you may not earn as many points just by being active on the social part of the site, you will definitely make up for it by writing. Besides, that’s still main focus of the site and the point system is set up so that it encourages you to write first and foremost.
I would definitely recommend the site to any of my friends or contacts that I’ve made so far in my young writing experience.
